Twins Are Tens

The baby girls held a ten month celebration on March 26th. They are ten months old and growing fast. Scout is standing up and leaning on tables by herself. Jordon lights up with a smile every time you come to see her. She makes me laugh. They both have me severely wrapped around their little fingers. It was hard to remember how intense an all out unlimited love can be.

Nine Months Olds

We celebrated nine months of life for Jordan and Scout last Tuesday 26th. They are growing and entertaining us on a daily basis. We are a happy family as you can see.

Courtney's Christmas Visit

Happy New Year family! Courtney came to visit the babies over the Christmas holiday and we had such a good time. I am posting a few pictures to share with everyone. Courtney was gracious, lovely and sweet. Having her along with Annabel and Rinchen and Jordan and Scout in the house made it feel like a real family Christmas. Courtney is still in living in New York in the Hamptons. She works for a newspaper there.

Celebrating the Birth of Christ

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. It is my favorite time of the year. I wanted to post some new baby pictures as that is what my whole life revolves around these days and I love it. Annabel decorated the tree and wrapped the gifts as beautifully as I have ever seen. A friend of hers gave the two rolling seats since her twins had grown up. The girls love them and now they can move themselves and be upright all the time. It is magic. Two pictures with the girls opening and inspecting their gifts. It was a joyous time.

Twins Are Five Months Old

We celebrated the twins first five months of being alive last Saturday. They are growing like they are in a big hurry to get somewhere.

Trick or Treat

We took some pictures of the girls trying on their Halloween costumes. They are the cutest two little duckies in California. We will wheel them around for ten minutes or so on Halloween night if they are having a good time.

United We Fall, Divided We Stand

Jordan and Scout can finally stand unassisted--For 2 seconds! But a proud 2 seconds it is. Scout actually was able to stand earlier, but Jordan soon achieved the skill too. Next, Scout badly wants to do some assisted walking. That's why she's toppling over. That right leg was just taking a step and the body didn't realize it had to lean left to accommodate for the weight shift. All these things bi-peds have to think about--it's VERY complicated! Jordan, on the other hand, is standing like a tree. She isn't planning to start stepping any time soon!

Five hundred channels, and there's never anything to watch on TV. Maybe we should get a satellite dish!

Four Months Old!

The babies can hardly contain their excitement at turning 1/3 year old. No Mommy, we never touched that Mexican cake, honest!

They Keep on Growing!

Scout attempts life as a bi-ped while Jordan taunts, "Come on, it can't be all that great. Life in a horizontal position does have its perks!"

Best friends can lean on each other for support! Things are looking up for Jordan and Scout.

Three Months Old

Hi Family,

Jordan and Scout were three months old on Sunday (8/26/07). We had a small cake and a little celebration. They are healthy and growing and are a great joy. They both laugh uncontrollably and it is so infectious. The first picture is of the girls wearing the pretty dresses Aunt Sara gave them as a baby present. The rest are of the cake and the three girls partying. Hope everyone is well.

Annabel Gives Birth to the Twins

Annabel delivered Jordan and Scout at 4:30 AM this morning. She and the babies are both doing great. I wanted to share our joy with the whole family.

Sex Matters

Well, the news is in from the in-depth Ultrasound on January 15th and the babies are both girls. The girls are eight ounces each at 19 weeks old and growing fast. We are very thankful to God for these two precious blessings.

Angeline's friend took these pictures, and I have to gush that these are the cutest pictures of him. I may be a bit biased. Don't blame me if I am. The mommy lady ain't so bad herself. Nice profile Mommy Lady! Now, young man, look at me when I'm talking to you. Don't try to give me any of that snooty nose attitude. Boy, these kids and their 'tudes are starting out younger and younger nowadays. Sigh!

Okay, I like this one even better. Now we have a full frontal. Okay, it's not that kind of site, silly. Well, this picture has some extra extra attitude. It's that "You talkin' to me? You lookin' at me?" thing that he's got going, that really gets to me. Just imagine him asking that in a New York Bronx accent. Too too cute.

I love this picture of Daniel. He's got that mischievous yet innocent air about him. I would like to fade into this picture and kiss him 50 times--at least. But then again, look at that exposed threatening fist. He's liable to punch me full in the noggin.

Annabel Sings for Her Supper

Annabel and a supporting choir of 360 singers performed at the City of Orange Tree Lighting Ceremony last night. They were accompanied by a full sixty piece orchestra and gave a fantastic Christmas story performance. The lighting and decorations were beautiful and the crowd of several thousand celebrated mightily. The photos are of: Arcy, Bob and me (two of our running friends who will marry next year), Annabel in the choir located at about dead center, orchestra with Mike Short conducting, Annabel above the girl in blue on the first row, Mike Short in action at right, and a view of the entire choir.

Daniel is 8 days old

Daniel as an OLD 8-day-old infant already shows a strong preference for his current favorite position--his head hyper-extended backwards! The happy mama beams at the camera, looking radiant and beautiful, even though she has just squeezed out a baby.

The Sweetest Baby in the World

I'm visiting Angeline over the Thanksgiving break, and got to meet Daniel. Oh my goodness, he is just the sweetest most-kissable baby in the world. Just everything he does is noteworthy. I have enjoyed so much watching him, carrying him, burping him, changing him, talking to him, bouncing him, taking him for walks, bathing him, putting him to sleep, trying to wake him up, going with him to Cradle Roll and having him sleep through the whole thing, having him sleep on me, rubbing his tummy, tickling his feet. You name it, I've enjoyed it all. I need to go kiss him again, to build up my storage supply to last until X'mas.

Baby Daniel Says, "Hello World, I Just Got Here!"

Auntie Annabel says, "Oh, he's SO sweet. I have been sitting here for the past 5 minutes, trying to figure out how to have him as my background wall paper on my computer. I'm going to have Cecil post it on our family blog ASAP! I can hardly wait to meet him and hold him. The world't sweetest baby--maybe I'm a bit biased, but I already love him".

This is my auntie (Mayee) who came all the way from England to surprise my mom at their 50th anniversary. When she walked in, my mom said something like "Who are you?" When she realized who she was talking to and looking at, she collapsed into this wonderful sister embrace. So adorable!
